What is collected

When you subscribe, Substack collects your email address and any profile information you choose to provide. I can see subscriber counts and general engagement data such as open rates. I do not have access to your payment information if you become a paid subscriber. Stripe and Substack handle that directly.

How your information is used

Your email address is used to send you issues of Below the Fine Print and occasional announcements about new guides or related publications. It is not sold to third parties. It is not shared with advertisers. Full stop.

Substack’s role

This newsletter runs on Substack’s platform. Substack’s own privacy policy governs how they collect and process your data as a platform. You can read it at substack.com/privacy.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. You can request deletion of your account and data directly through Substack’s settings.
